'Euthella' Hunters Hill
Located on the prestigious Euthella Avenue, this residence is a bold reimagining of the Hunters Hill waterfront. Named in honor of the original Euthella Estate, the project balances the suburb’s deep heritage roots with a sophisticated, uncompromisingly modernist architectural language.
The design is defined by a series of clean, white horizontal planes that appear to “hover” above the natural sandstone foundations and lush greenery of the site. This layering creates a sense of weightlessness, allowing the substantial volumes of the home to integrate seamlessly into the steep riverfront topography. Expansive floor-to-ceiling glazing dissolves the boundaries between the interior and the Parramatta River, framing panoramic water views as the central element of the living experience.
Inside, the home is a study in “prestige liveability.” Grand-scale entertaining areas flow into intimate family zones, ensuring the residence remains deeply comfortable for daily life. High-performance materials, including off-form concrete and crisp white masonry, are softened by natural timber accents and strategic landscaping, creating a tactile and enduring sanctuary.
“This residence exemplifies our approach to creating prestige architecture that remains deeply comfortable for modern family living. It sits within a curated collection of our significant estates, including the expansive Rosebery Estate, Killara and The Boulevarde, Strathfield These projects demonstrate how studioJLA balances grand-scale volumes with intimate, light-filled spaces designed for longevity and connection.”
