We like to thank Michael Nicholso who has done a fabulous job in capturing the light, space and the architecture for our project in Gladesville. His understanding of effects of light on surfaces has led to a nice play on shadows within his photography. His photos have captured the contemporary design yet comfortable spaces in the open plan configuration.
This Gladesville residence designed by architect studioJLA, has been configured to provide flexible use of space to allow for ample space for everyday use yet be a perfect place for entertaining. The residence has been designed to maximise solar access with good cross flow ventilation. Yet the house has been designed with high thermal performance to be a contemporary yet sustainable designed dwelling.
The ground floor cantilevered living room space is taking shape at our project in Tennyson Point. We thank Doug and Eddy for their time & patience in their preparation in the form work and the challenging aspects of the design. The spiral staircase is the main feature of the house and carries over 3 storeys while admiring the water views.
Our project in Tennyson Pt is in construction. The steel framed structure expresses the three tiered floating roof structure and 3.6m entry ceiling. The completion of the steel framing provides an appreciation of the internal spatial quality capturing the water views down the 3 storey void space.
We are approaching the final phases for our project in Gladesville. With glass roof allowing ample amounts of light to the bi-stacking doors which extend to the outside of the residence has come together better than expected.
