Our residence in Eastwood has been a challenge in dealing with a series of site constraints including sewer and storm water pipes and being located in the flood zone. The design has been designed in direct response to the sites constraints with its angular design. The central courtyard and angular roof form provides ample light and a outdoor space above the existing flood levels.

Following on from the recent success of our our commercial project in Putney, StudioJLA has been given the opportunity to assist in the development of the adjoining property. The redevelopment of this site was masterfully designed to be a ‘meeting place’ for the Putney area, including a public walkway connection between Morrison Road and Charles Street.
This residence in Russell Lea aims to provide open plan living & seamless connection to outdoors on a typical corner allotment. The aim was to create a design that allow for an open plan configuration allowing a flexible use of space.The configuration and placement of elements was carefully considered to allow for the northerly aspect to be enjoyed throughout the house.
